welcome to limelight city
Wendy was confused, well that was an understatement; she was frightened. The sky dragon slayer had no idea where she was or even where Charle was.
The bluenette had looked for her white exceed but nothing. Where could she be? Being without Charle had made Wendy even more nervous, and without the exceed’s advice what would the girl do now?
“I-I wonder where Charle is..” she said softly to herself looking around at the buildings and houses. This certainly wasn’t anything she’d seen before, and it was as though the dragon slayer had gone back in time or another dimension.
California wasn’t it? Some kind of weird country she’d never heard of but Wendy herself had decided on coming here and even without Charle or any of the other Fairy Tail members.. Maybe she hoped she’d see Mystogan again?
And she remembered the words she heard coming off of the bus.. A man had approached her saying that he was the best travel agent in all of California. Walter was his name, and Wendy didn’t forget it.
Her head turned and the piece of paper in her hand crumbled, looking down at it pulling it out from her fingers.
It was the bus ticket.
“U-um..” she looked around for anyone, someone to help but her shyness overwhelmed the mage once again.
A sandy haired blonde man was jogging by at the time the bus stopped and dropped off the girl. Baseball bats and equipment dangled off from the backpack that was barely zipped up and he didn’t seem to notice the cacophony of instruments as they jingled in their spots, in danger of falling off.
He didn’t notice the girl, either. After all, he was a dense kind of guy who relied on instinct to get him where he was. Baseball players tended to be like that, patriotic with good reflexes, but often too stupid to notice the world around them when they needed to.
You see that boy over there, jogging and humming the national anthem? He’s just like that. By chance he’ll toss over his head to the raven haired girl before him, and with a look of curiosity, he’ll jog over, animated and excited at the prospects of a new arrival in Limelight city.

“Hey! How long’ve you been here?”
Plus, she could always go watch his games.
